As shown above “insufficient balance error” was persistent after many trials and reconnections of wallets. It loads the correct tx screen and then redirects to the error page in a mini sec. I had a total of 10,000stx available for gas fees which is more than the required 2stx.
Gas Fee Solution
Turns out my mistake was not adding the alextestnet RPC (Refer to testnet guide in mail) in my stacks wallet which would prompt the correct gas fee. I corrected this and the transaction was successful. The transaction period took longer than expected but it was all good in the end.
