Could this be the reason why the versions don’t match? Because you are using English and if you switch to another language version, you will get flashbacks.
I’ve had this error occur whenever the Metamask/Brave wallet is not correctly set pointing to the Goerli test network. Please double check this, hope it helps.

You are right, DeeList.
In the screenshot above on the ETH side, you can see the Ethereum network, not GoreliETH. Trying to wrap usually ends with this error on the page.
